Application Management Process for French Universities
Over the last few years, France has gained its position as a higher education destination after the UK, United States, Australia for students wanting to study abroad . It has 2 intakes. The major intake is in February & July and the minor intake is in September and November.
For both UG and PG, international students are recommended to begin the application procedure 8-12 months prior to the intake.
You can follow the following steps to start with the application process in the French university:
- Select the college/course you want to apply for.
The application form is available online which can be downloaded from the university website.
- Provide/upload all the required documents
The application form would ask for certain documents, which would range from the academic transcripts to essays in some cases. A student would be required to upload the same.
- Apply for student visa
Universities in France would require all the international students to have a student visa before you are granted a Preliminary Admission. The visa application process can be initiated via Campus France Website too.
- Complete your Application, undergo the university interview
Campus France after validating your documents would complete your application followed by an interview round which is usually recorded for view by various French universities.
Once all these steps are completed, you have to wait for the call of admission from the university.
