The EB-5 Investor Visa route offers flexibility and a range of benefits to the investors and their families. There are no restrictions to live, work or study on the green card except that the investor cannot vote until they get their citizenship. Right to vote is the only restriction that sets apart the green card holder from a citizen. Once the immigrant investor has lived in the US with a permanent green card for a period of 5 years maintaining the minimum residency requirements, the investor becomes eligible for US citizenship.
