Eligibility Criteria for applying to Australian universities:
For undergraduate courses - minimum 12 years of primary plus secondary education in Australia along with a Australia Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or an equivalent certificate from their home country.
For postgraduate courses -bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from Australia or abroad. In some cases, postgraduate courses require students to have a 4 years bachelor’s degree. Some courses also require some years of work experience.

It can take a few weeks for the university to assess your application and notify you of the results. Usually postgraduate applications take longer to get processed. So all that while, the student can start looking for information on visa requirements.
